A Monumental Tableau.
In the distance, the hut, the apex of which dances with the wind, is calling us. Let's cross the frame, let's enter Douanier Rousseau's jungle. The path snakes through the mysterious foliage. Let's rub through the plants, let's take the time to enjoy their diversity.
Impressive specimens border the path, they accompany our walk; the smallest patiently wait to grow in the jungle-garden. At the turn of a bend, a seat flanked by boarding is revealed. It invites us to meditate, to observe this nature-sized canvas.
An opening! The hut opens to the sky. This folly beats in time with the plants. At its heart the garden's jewel can be found: the gardener's most cherished plant. The hut and clearing invite us on a contemplative journey to distant lands. The vegetation closes in again, the call of the forest resounds. A few more twists and turns through the leaves before the garden's edge is revealed; leaving behind us the dream garden of the Douanier Rousseau.
The two creators of the Atelier Biomes place great importance on environmental issues, since, for them, they are essential and inherent in the work of a landscape designer. They are committed to highlighting eco-systemic relationships, promoting the development of fauna and flora through their work. They appreciate pop-up gardens as a medium to talk about poetry and sensibility to share with the widest audience.
