MONACO

Under the leadership of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, environmental issues are a national priority for Monaco, which has been pursuing a proactive policy in favour of sustainable development for several years.

The Principality of Monaco wishes to assert its position as a Responsible Tourism destination by offering visitors the opportunity to experience the full range of its initiatives through visits outside the usual tourist trails and discover a sustainable Monaco.

The Terraces of the Casino de Monaco are a promenade located above the Hôtel Fairmont and behind the Casino de Monaco. These publicly accessible terraces are planted with lush vegetation, which has been present for many years, as can be seen from the size of some of the plants. This walk offers visitors numerous vantage points and a 180° panorama from Roquebrune Cap-Martin to the Rock of Monaco.
